Information

This is a very smart twin screw motor cruiser built in Spring 2011 and is fitted with the optional extended solid pulpit instead of standard foredeck pulpit. Only for sale as her owner is moving upto a larger Seaward. ‘Sandpiper’ is a lovely example of the Seaward 25 and is equally at home doing cross-Channel work in comfort and safety. With low engine hours and kept in ‘as new’ condition by her owner, this boat is all ready to go. She can be viewed here at our factory in Cowes, by appointment.

Mechanical Data: 2 x 4 cylinder latest 4JH4 75 hp Yanmar marine diesel engines fitted with 2:1 Hurth hydraulic gearboxes driving 2 x 3 blade contra rotating propellers on 35 mm diameter stainless steel shafts giving maximum speed of 19 knots. Twin cast bronze rudders are fitted. Fuel consumption at 15 knots is approximately. 2.0 gallons per hour per engine. Engines serviced October 2017. Engine running hours: 409hrs (approx).

Remarks: The Seaward 25’s have proven seakeeping qualities and are probably the most sea kindly vessels in this size range. Hull antifouled, superstructure valeted and polished July 2017. Pressure washed Sept 2017. Shaft & rudder anodes replaced July 2017. New water impellers and oil change on both engines Oct 2017. Fresh water system cleaned and new filter fitted Nov 2017. Fuel consumption circa 7 litres per engine per hour during 2017 as recorded in log book.
