Phased Return to Production
for Seaward
Following the latest advice from Government, Seaward have decided to commence a phased return to work for some key personnel.
We are, initially, going to bring back a small team to establish the procedures, ensure the supply of necessary goods and services and to begin to make progress on the boats in build.
Hopefully, as long as all these things are in place we can then, slowly, bring in other team members to further improve productivity; with the aim of achieving full capacity as soon as circumstances allow.
The top priority in planning any return must be and will remain the safety and health of our staff, customers and the wider community.
In order for the team to return to the factory, measures are being put in place to enable working with social distancing and use of strict procedures concerning hygiene and infection prevention.
For our customers this all means there is light at the end of the tunnel. We will not, for the next few weeks at least, be anywhere near full capacity but we are keen to complete boats in build and start new projects as quickly as circumstances allow.
