Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club order 2 new Seaward 35’s

After a worldwide search for replacement mark-laying and committee boats, Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club has chosen two new Seaward Nelson 35s.

The Club specified that the craft should have a working life of at least 20 years, meaning, in essence, the tough and immensely seaworthy Seaward was best suited to their requirements, rather than a pleasurecraft hull.

Alan Reid, Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club’s Marine Manager , said “The builders of the vessel had to be a well-found yard with a proven record of building sturdy vessels to an international standard.  Seaward was chosen for their quality of build and attention to detail and their long history of building quality leisure and commercial craft.”

The Seaward Nelson 35 is unrivalled in its sea-keeping abilities.

Seaward’s continued success in the leisure and commercial sectors, with a recent series of orders where Seaward boats have been chosen over other builders for their proven designs and reliability, provides a bright future for the brand and the company.

Seaward produce a commercial range of Nelson design craft from 19’ to 46’
